O histórico de Seattle, que tocou com tudo o que é gente - Nirvana, Soundgarden, Tad -, apresenta-se ao vivo no Lounge, depois da participação no Festival Para Gente Sentada em Fevereiro passado.
"Terry Lee Hale nasceu em 1953 em San Antonio, Texas. Criado numa familia militar, estuda em 10 escolas em 10 cidades diferentes. Surge para a música na compilação "Sub Pop 200" (1988), da mítica editora Sup Pop, ao lado de nomes como Nirvana, Tad ou Soundgarden, bandas para as quais abria os concertos munido apenas da sua guitarra acústica. Trabalhou com Jack Endino, histórico produtor de mais de 300 discos e muitas vezes chamado de padrinho do grunge. Nos últimos anos tem trabalhado em estreita colaboração com Chris Eckman dos Walkabouts. A sua discografia conta já com mais de 10 álbuns no activo." (Nuno Calado, Antena 3)
"1953-San Antonio, Texas: Born into an army family Terry Lee attended 10 schools in 10 different cities. After finishing high school in Yakima, Washington he set out for Seattle, then California and continued from there to travel in the States all the while learning to play guitar and write songs. TLH has worked as a carpenter, truck driver, farm and ranch hand, cook, laborer, bar tender, booking agent and various other occupations to support himself, his daughter (as a single parent) and his music. From the first time he heard Bill Haley's "Rock Around The Clock" he wanted to be a guitar player and indeed, bought his first at 14. Terry Lee has lived and traveled extensively in America and, since 1993, in Europe as well. Currently keeping a house in Seattle where he has lived since January of 1984, he spends most of his days writing and touring in Europe. While in Europe he resides in France. His first appearances on record was on 1987's - "Lowlife" compilation from Ironwood Records and the following year with the song "Dead Is Dead" on SubPop 200. Now, there are 12 Cd's released in Europe, all of them on German recording labels starting in 1993 with "Oh What A World" on Normal Records. The next 8 CD's (Frontier Model, The Wilderness Years, Tornado Alley, Leaving West, Old Hand, Blue Room, Frozen, Tender Loving Hell: The Best Of.) were with Glitterhouse and the last release (Celebration What For) in 2004 with Blue Rose. Also with Blue Rose was one self-titled release called Hardpan and one live CD/DVD- Hardpan Live- featuring Chris Burroughs, Joseph Parsons Todd Thibaud and Terry Lee Hale. Recently Terry Lee has signed with the Spanish indie label Borderdreams and his latest recording "Shotgun Pillowcase" (produced by Chris Eckman, mixed by Tucker Martine) is released February 15, 2007."

Os Tape Loading Error regressam ao Lounge, mesmo a tempo de apresentar o novo trabalho "RPM 2008", acabado de lançar em exlusivo para a http://www.blogger.com/. Entretanto, os TLE ganharam um novo elemento, pelo que desta vez a festa se faz em formato banda, com bateria real a acompanhar o corpo electrónico.
"Fevereiro já passou e Tape Loading Error gravou 10 músicas novas com o objectivo de participar no evento RPM. Tal como em 2007, a RPM vai disponibilizar no seu site uma jukebox onde podem encontrar todos os projectos que participaram neste evento. Para acompanhar a jukebox, a RPM vai promover listening parties em vários locais tais como Portsmouth, St.John, Cleveland, Toronto, Twin Cities entre outros.
Tape Loading Error reuniu diversos samples grátis distribuidos em revistas de música como a Computer Music ou Future Music e em conjunto com uma groovebox MC303 compôs 10 temas ligados ao experimental, minimal electrónico. Todas as músicas foram produzidas e gravadas com recurso ao Ubuntu Studio, excelente ferramente Open Source! Como ponto de partida a criação de músicas em formato equivalente ao OpenSource, Tape Loading Error apresenta o albúm RPM 2008 em versão streaming durante o mês de Março e no dia 1 de Abril todas as músicas vão estar disponíveis para download gratuito, sem restrições DRM!"

"When you think about a Social Disco Club, you inevitably think of people gathering together around disco music. So it was with little surprise that Humberto picked it up as his musical alterego. Being a dj since he was a teenager, Humberto fully understands the ease with which people gather around music, talking, partying, and letting themselves go. He also knows the way that a dj can convey his music to those in front of him, setting a vibe, maintaining a groove. Looking at djs like Larry Levan for inspiration, he soon realised that the message was really in the music. It was the music that made those people gather around. And the music, well, was disco. Disco, especially disco, seemed to express exactly what he wanted to say. So when it came time to sit down and actually make music, the choice was easy. For Humberto, disco still has a lot to offer and the technological breakthroughs of music production have actually helped to bring disco into the 21st century. Taking advantage of those tools, Social Disco Club's music is now focused on bringing forgotten disco to a new audience, adding his own personal disco touch to it. Be it made in 1970 or 2007, the message is always in the music."

É no Lounge que arranca a primeira tour nacional dos chilenos Familea Miranda. Rock musculado, pintalgado de prog, hardcore marado e psicadelismo, cantado em espanhol. Lá por fora já tocaram com os Man or Astroman?, Spermbirds e Trans Am. Tempo de os descobrir cá dentro.
"Familia Miranda is touring Portugal for the first time and they are presenting their last release: "Llamando al Desastre", a remastered compilation of their 2 first works from 2001 and 2003, originally released as CD-R just in Chile. Familia Miranda ("noisy onlookers" or "window shoppers" according to the local slang) was born in 1999 in Santiago de Chile, Southamerica, and is the confluence of veteran musicians of the chilean underground punk scene from the early 90's. The members are guitarist and vocalist Katafú, the bass player and vocalist Milo-Gomberoff and the drummer, teacher, and electronic musician José Jünemann. Since their beginnings, they have know how to distill a mostly instrumental sound that brings to mind the intrincate legacy of bands from the noiserock genre: psychedelic, dense, experimental and energetic at the same time. In their style, come together, elements of punk rock, hardcore, new wave, obscure metal, post rock and some weird spots of south-american folklore, always insisting on thematics dyed of a fine black humor, abstract lyrics, and a real distrust for the traditionalism of the Rock and Roll. They have toured extensely around Chile, Argentina, and 4 times through Europe, playing with the likes of The Ex, Trans Am, Man or Astroman?, Spermbirds, Asobi Seksu, Engine Down and Tribute to Nothing, among others. Since 2007 the band lives and has their headquarter in Barcelona, Spain."
